"winter break", 2017
-----------------
during winter break i helped a friend
plant a vegetable garden.
in the garden shed there was a nice piece
of rope, 100 feet long.
i don't know how, but it got tangled into
numerous knots, and was useless.
i sat for some time by the garden, on a
bluff that overwatched the sea, and began
untangling it. it was tedious, in a way,
but i somehow stuck with it.
i finally got the last knot untangled,
coiled the rope, and wrapped the two
loose ends around the coils and tied them.
i put the rope in a box, labeled it, and
put it back in the garden shed. if someone
needs it, it will be ready for use.
