I have written haiku - like verses since 2008, as a chronological journal of my reactions to events and personal experiences.
My niece first encouraged me to write for her "Politiku" blog in the Huffington Post. She coined the term politiku, and characterized the genre as "neither haiku nor political commentary but a hybrid of the two."
Some are colored by my interest in knowledge of self, or inner awareness, which terms I sometimes use interchangeably.
I do not claim expertise in any of these fields, as will probably be evident.
